Because the Mississippi Gulf Coast is quickly making a big comeback, now is the perfect time to start planning your Spring Break or that early summer vacation to our Gulf Coast.

To help you plan your trip, the following is a listing of casinos and resorts that are open and making the Gulf Coast a wonderful place to visit:

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino: A wholly owned subsidiary of MGM Mirage, the Beau Rivage has made an investment of more than $1.3 billion, featuring 1,740 hotel rooms, 2,100 slots, 93 table games and 7 restaurants. Boomtown Casino: Owned by Penn National Gaming, Boomtown Casino is located on the Biloxi Back Bay. Boomtown has 1,400 new slot machines, 22 table games and 2 restaurants.

Grand Casino Biloxi: Grand Casino Biloxi has 500 hotel rooms, 800 slot machines, 29 table game, 3 restaurants and a full service spa. Their Jack Nicklaus designed Grand Bear Golf Course is open for business. To make a reservation call 800-HARRAHS.

Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis: Owned by Penn National Gaming, Hollywood Casino Bay St Louis features 291 hotel rooms, 100 bays in its RV Park, 900 slots, 20 table games and 4 restaurants. The Bridges Golf Club recently underwent a multimillion dollar renovation project. To make a reservation call 866-758-2591.

IP Hotel & Casino: The IP Hotel & Casino features 1,088 hotel rooms, 1,900 slots, 54 table games, 4 restaurants, shopping and nightclubs. To make a reservation call 800- WIN AT IP.

Island View Casino Resort: Island View Casino Resort is the former Grand Casino Gulfport. The new owners are the Gulfside Casino Partnership. The Island View features 562 hotel rooms, 500+ slots, 14 table games, and 1 restaurant. Call 877-774-8439 for reservations.

Isle of Capri Casino Resort: The resort features 700 hotel rooms including 200 suites, 1,300 slots, 30 table games, and 4 restaurants. For reservations call 800-843-4752.

Palace Casino Resort: The resort provides 234 hotel rooms, 827 slots, 14 table games, and 2 restaurants. For reservations call 800-PALACE-9.

Silver Slipper: The Silver Slipper Casino is located in Hancock County. The Silver Slipper features 1000+ slots, 26 table games, and 3 restaurants. Call 866-SSLIPPER for reservations.

Treasure Bay Casino: Treasure Bay currently has 330 slots, 22 table games, and 1 restaurant. When the property becomes fully operational, it will have an additional 450 slots, a second restaurant and 250 hotel rooms.

And coming soon, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi, which is owned and operated by Premier Entertainment, will open its doors in the summer of 2007. The property will include approximately 1,500 slot machines and 52 table games, five restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, 11-story hotel with 318 rooms and suites, a full service spa and fitness center, a unique Hard Rock themed beach pool, Hard Rock Live, a 1,200 capacity entertainment venue and retail shops.
